The brand Christos was created in 1984 by the Cyprus-born fashion designer Christos Yiannakou . Leaving the fashion world, Yiannakou invited Amsale to become the brand's creative director in 2005. Amsale managed to preserve the brand's tendency towards tradition, enriching it with rhymes of modern sensuality. Still remaining timeless, the brand evokes the beauty and romance of nature.

The collection of this brand surprisingly harmoniously coexists with modern and vintage fashion, evoking a sense of purity and beauty with a touch of romance. While remaining faithful to intricate details – beaded belts, hand-made lace patterns and delicately worked silk flowers, the brand offers light and airy gowns in which the bride almost disappears in lightly flowing layers of tulle and lace.
