Make-up artist Julija Balinska believes that such a view is misleading, because even a professional make-up artist cannot always hide the bride's skin imperfections, irritations and skin peeling.

Quality procedures and home care

Julija Balinska is convinced that the bride should start taking care of her complexion and appearance long before the wedding. "The skin of both the face and the body must be prepared.

Of course, women also take care of their appearance on a daily basis, but the wedding day is a special event, so you should start thinking about the overall image in time. If this is done, the wedding makeup will be smooth and beautiful, and the overall image of the bride will exceed all expectations," said Yuliya.

She recommends starting procedures in a beauty salon three months before the wedding. "In my opinion, a series of high-quality procedures and home care work wonders. A cosmetologist will help you choose products that will improve your facial skin, make it cleaner and more dazzling. Creams and masks, special products for facial cleansing and the quality of creams - all this will be useful for the skin. It is also better to give preference to good-quality decorative cosmetics," recommends Yuliya.

Trial makeup

The make-up artist advises – in order to achieve the image of the ideal bride, do not try to change your appearance drastically.

Make-up, hair color and choice of dress must be in harmony with the bride's own personality. Also, you should definitely consider doing a make-up trial before the wedding. "The first meeting with the make-up artist and hairdresser could take place about a month before the wedding. This is enough time to develop the overall image," Julia is convinced.

In fashion – naturalness and slightly careless makeup

Speaking of the 2018 trends in bridal make-up, Julia points out that the natural look continues to maintain its position.

"In this wedding season, naturalness will continue to be relevant. Also relevant is slightly careless makeup, which can be achieved by using blurred contours.

This season, the accents in the bride's make-up can only be placed on one object, for example, eyes or lips, both dark colored eyes and bright lips are no longer relevant. But if we talk about bright lips, they will be chosen by more and more brides, since they are so hot right now. It can be the color of ripe cherries or classic red, pink or peach. Berry color notes are also relevant.

On the other hand, perfectly contoured lips have lost their relevance, as well as bright and relatively thin eyebrows and a thick layer of foundation on the bride's face," says Julija about this season's trends.

Julia's recommendations, what (not) to do a week before the wedding:

• Do not experiment with facial skin care. Use the same cream as before, and you will be sure that you will not have an unwanted allergy to a new cosmetic product.
• Do not change your hair color or length.
• Drink more fluids. It is both necessary for your body and will give a fresh look to your skin.
• Get some sleep! Do not forget that good sleep is the secret of energy, joy of life and cheerfulness.
• Your tan should look as natural as possible, so it is better not to visit the solarium a week before the wedding.
• The last days before the wedding are not the best time to experiment with deep peeling, facial cleansing or tattooing. After all, it is impossible to predict how the skin will react to it. It is best to plan all the procedures a month before the wedding or postpone them for a later time.
• On the wedding day, use only waterproof mascara and eyeliner or liner. This way, the makeup will not smudge or smudge.

On the wedding day, it would be good to have:

• Mattifying face wipes and compact powder. To reduce shine, you should first dry your face with tissues and then apply powder.
