We invite you to celebrate your special day in our renovated Virgabaļi celebration barn near Cēsis, in Āraiši.

Soon, happy laughter will echo here, and the ground will rumble under the dancers' feet. It will be a summer night where darkness never truly sets, songs will rustle with the winds in blooming meadows and among blooming people. You will celebrate each other, yourselves, and time.

A place to celebrate life's most beautiful moments

We offer a celebration venue close to Cēsis, in a spacious and very picturesque environment, in a renovated celebration barn for all-season festivities. The renovated wedding barn is on two floors – the first-floor hall with a bar is used as a reception area after the ceremony, for enjoying snacks and sparkling wine, as well as a hall for small wedding, which is heated for celebrations during cooler seasons.

The large celebration hall is located on the second floor with large doors – gates, which allow even a special vehicle (motorcycle, car, etc.) to drive into the hall, serving as a surprise for the evening part – dinner and ball. At the end of the hall, there is a built-in bar and a lounge area. The premises are equipped with adjustable string lights and a decorative central chandelier – a wheel, as well as delicate string lights.

From May to September, we can accommodate up to 100 guests, and in the winter season, up to 60 guests.

Amenities and services

A spacious, equipped kitchen with everything necessary for food preparation and serving. We do not offer catering, but we share our best recommendations, and you can also choose your own.

Decoration is allowed from the previous evening, as is staying on the premises until 4 PM the next day.

Wedding celebration days – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Discounts apply for Tuesdays or Thursdays.

We offer accommodation* in our beautiful and cozy guesthouse apartments, in the renovated sauna house with a romantic LUX honeymoon suite. In 2024, very cozy shared sleeping areas with private boudoirs were set up. The total number of beds is – 66; if there are more guests, equipped bell tents are set up.

A spacious surrounding area is available – an old country sauna, a hot tub, ponds for swimming, barbecue areas, sports fields and inflatable attractions, tent sites, as well as the possibility to use a boat, and ample parking.

*It is not possible to rent the celebration barn without staying in the guesthouse.

A scenic hill. Always ready are 3 ceremony locations – on the hill with a beautiful landscape, under the oaks in the alley, by the pond among willows on a jetty. Many places for photo shoots.
